Functieomschrijving

Are you a skilled professional in managing complex logistics? As an Import Transcon Agent, you ensure a timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Ocean Import Department

Your responsibilities as an Import Transcon Agent:

Review and support with day-to-day trucking operations.
Allocate workloads within team to ensure smooth operations during peak activity or staff absence.
Monitor workboards to ensure internal KPI’s are met
Assist in retention calls and complete customer reviews.
Monitor monthly invoicing.
Be a guide for the team - mentor agents and ensure that positive attitude is maintained.
Be continuously open and positive to implementing new system changes and enhancements with the team.
Oversee and ensure compliance with our Operational Process Standards.
Audit all service providers appointed by the customer.

Profiel

As Import Transcon Agent, you pocess following skills:

Minimum 1-2 years related experience.
Understanding of ocean documentation process
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
Pro-active, strong organizational skills
A very good level of Excel & Word.
Fluent in English & Dutch.

De implementatie en realisatie van logistieke actieplannen opvolgen en de uitvoering controleren
Logistieke activiteiten organiseren en op elkaar afstemmen volgens de behoeften van de klant en de eisen van de leverancier
Het logistiek plan van een organisatie opstellen en implementeren (voorschriften, werkmethodes, ...)

Vereiste studies

Professionele bachelor: Transport en logistiek
