We always go the extra mile for our customers, delivering a unique blend of logistics services and tailored advice from our dedicated team. To help grow our Antwerp branch, we are looking to fill the following position:

Freight Forwarder Import

Position:

As Forwarder, you will be responsible for the operational and administrative execution and follow-up of import files.
As a forwarder, you are tasked with overseeing the whole picture, meaning you are responsible for both receiving and recording incoming orders, before booking the necessary transport for these orders and drawing up the required documents.
You will monitor each shipment right up to its full completion, keeping the customer updated on its progress. This means you are also responsible for validating purchase invoices and billing.
You will ascertain the costs for each dossier and draw up subsequent quotes.
As Freight Forwarder Import, you will be joining a small team.

Profiel

Profile:

You have experience in import forwarding, as well as knowledge of applicable transport regulations.
Certification in the handling of hazardous goods is also a plus.
You are capable of using and applying forwarding documents with ease.
In addition, you hold excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
You have good geographical knowledge.
As Forwarder, you will always go the extra mile for your customers, always striving to achieve the best possible outcome.

De transport- en bevrachtingsdocumenten opstellen, controleren en aan de klanten, dienstverleners, ... overhandigen
Klanten informeren over de transportvoorwaarden (kostprijs, formaliteiten, ...) Een commerciële oplossing voorstellen
De facturering van het transport voorbereiden en/of controleren
Tarieflijsten voor de verkoop en/of aankoop van een transportdienst opstellen volgens operationele of financiële criteria
De opvolggegevens registreren Afwijkingen vaststellen en verbeteringen voorstellen
Samen met de klant de voorwaarden en de kostprijs van het transport preciseren De verschillende stappen van het transport organiseren (ophaling, levering, ...)
Klachten noteren en de klant een eerste antwoord of oplossing aanreiken naargelang het probleem (vertraging, verlies, breuk, ...)
De algemene dienstverlening opvolgen en controleren volgens de overeengekomen bepalingen (verloop van het transport, traceerbaarheid van de goederen, ...)
De prijs voor het bevrachten en het transport opzoeken (transporteurs, onderaannemers, bevrachtingsbeurs, ...) De modaliteiten voor de aan- of verkoop van de transportdienst bepalen

Professionele bachelor
Algemeen secundair onderwijs (ASO)
