We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Systems Engineer to join an innovative organization located in Antwerp.

Focused on sustainable engineering and clean energy applications, this company is deeply committed to powering industries with environmentally conscious solutions. Operating internationally, it serves a broad range of industrial and transportation sectors with cutting-edge technology advancements.

As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, you will:

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions, including servers, networking, firewalls, and databases,
Utilize your Azure expertise to ensure seamless cloud integrations and optimization,
Leverage knowledge of other cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud) to build a scalable multi-cloud environment,
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to streamline cloud resource management,
Apply DevOps practices for enhanced collaboration between development and operations, ensuring CI/CD efficiency,
Monitor and manage cloud costs to optimize resources,
Secure cloud infrastructure by adhering to compliance standards and best practices,
Optimize performance to align with business needs and efficiency goals,
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution,
Maintain detailed documentation and provide training to team members.

Profiel

You are a great fit for the role if you have:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus),
Proven experience in cloud infrastructure setup and management,
Expertise in Azure and familiarity with at least one other provider (AWS, Google Cloud),
Hands-on experience with IaC tools and DevOps practices, including CI/CD,
Demonstrated ability to manage cloud costs effectively,
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills,
Knowledge of cloud security and compliance,
The ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred qualifications include:

Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud,
Dutch language skills (English is required),
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
