Site Supervisor - Project 1

Coach. Team Player. Communicator.

As a supervisor, you will be a part of the operations crew for this high-end project. You will be the first point of contact for the team, as well be a familiar face on site for the client. As a true coach you will oversee the environment to check if everything is up to the Sarens standards and if every team member is operating in their own full potential.

Sarens Projects is for the upcoming 2 years involved in a huge industrial building project, located in Antwerp harbor region. On the project site, we will deliver all kinds of hoisting services, as from the smallest lift till the biggest load-out, in a safe, qualitative and efficient way. TO make sure that our operations crew gets to the next level, we are looking for supervisors.

Your job as supervisor in a nutshell:

• Safety is always top-of-mind
• Coaching and assisting crane operators and riggers on a day-to-day basis
• Daily communication with the team about the duties/ project
• Inspect equipment and see if they are conform to standards
• Checking lifting plans and check if they are consistent with current conditions
• Reporting, discussing and resolving on-site ad hoc problems
• Function as a point of contact with the client regarding practical concerns

In this position, you will report to the Site manager and Project manager. You will work with your assigned team of crane operators and riggers to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner. In addition, you will be part of big on-site operational crew: riggers, crane operators, site managers, SHEQ coordinators, project managers, other supervisors….
