Controller

Robert Half is currently recruiting a Controller (m/f/x) to join an international group specialized in building materials.

Our client is located in Antwerp.

Your responsibilities:

• You take complete controlling responsibility for all financial tasks within the organization;
• You prepare and publish timely quarterly financial statements, including the balance sheet and income statements;
• You create budgets, financial forecasts, and report variances at both general ledger and cost accounting levels;
• You coordinate and assist with regulatory reporting and manage annual and periodic program review audits;
• You review accounts receivable and accounts payable reporting, working closely with the sales department;
• You ensure quality control of financial transactions and accurate financial reporting;
• You follow up factoring and transactional financing activities with banks;
• You assist the CFO in financial planning and managing currency risks (e.g., USD/CAD);
• You develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
