As a Project Controls Engineer, you play a key role in large, complex, and strategically important projects where engineering, planning, and management come together.
Working for our client means being part of a consultancy firm that operates for the biggest players in the construction sector.
From project to project, you act as the “smart friend” of the client, where IT and construction meet.
You ensure that projects are not only planned, but also strategically managed.
By identifying risks, scenarios, and dependencies, the project team is provided with the tools to make well-founded decisions.
In meetings, complex information is translated into clear choices, supported by solid analysis.
You advise the project manager across various project controls domains.
The technical interdependencies of complex projects are translated into a clear and integrated project schedule.
You are responsible for the planning and control process, including scenario, risk, and delay analyses.
Support is provided to the project team regarding changes and claims.
Project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is used for all analyses.

For this role, we are looking for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for data and analysis.

The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:

A master’s degree in a technical or related field (e.g. civil engineering, industrial engineering, or similar).
The master’s degree is recognized by NARIC or a Belgian diploma.
Experience in a similar role within complex technical projects, or a strong willingness to develop in this area.
Knowledge of planning and project controls software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is essential.
Strong skills in scenario and risk analysis, with the ability to clearly communicate solutions and advice to stakeholders.
A proactive mindset combined with strong communication and analytical skills.
Fluent in English Dutch and/or French are a plus..
